The Mobile Device Manager (MDM) used by Finloup for its Apple devices is a device management tool designed to offer better support and protection for users.

Specifically, the serial numbers of Apple devices are registered in Finloup's MDM system, which allows for the remote tracking and locking of the device in case of loss.

How finloup uses the MDM system

Finloup uses MDM with full respect for user privacy. Specifically, Finloup doesn't have the ability to:

  • Read or modify files stored on the device, whether all files or individual ones.

  • Access photos, contacts, emails, SMS messages, social media messages, or passwords (e.g., e-banking, email, social media).

  • Delete files from your device.

  • Make calls or send messages (SMS).

  • Read data from apps or perform any actions within them.

  • Conduct transactions on e-shops, marketplaces, or other apps such as e-banking apps.

  • Take backups of your data from the device or from connected accounts.

Compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

Finloup operates in full compliance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), offering users the option to submit requests and exercise their rights at any time. If you wish to submit a request, you can do so by emailing [email protected].

In this way, finloup ensures the complete protection of your personal data while also offering a secure and seamless device management experience.
